MSN search!

As always, I was not the first, or whatever u call. I was not the first to bring this MSN search (on top right) into the blog! Perhaps not the first, but HE was the one, from whom, I traced out, this kinda search facility for my blog!
Whatever!

It works good! Though, not very useful, it gives some kinda life to my blog!
And I was forced to tranform into plain templates, to suit that 'MSN search'!
Huh!
This trifle blog seems to look matured too!

FIVE POINT SOMEONE

Perhaps, I am one of the voracious readers of obsolete books!! Huh! But yes, I am a late thinker and go and grab everything overdue, sometimes, leave it of too.
Ya! This five point someone, which, I feel, the whole of India would have read, is really good to me! Could not really carve out the reason for my admiration to it! Do I find something special in it?
There's nothing special in it, but it's special!Huh!

The language of BHAGAT, his style of writing, the way of expressing romantic or thrilling or haunting moments, whatever and whatever have all been exceedingly excellent.
I do accept, it's a 'simple-vocabulary' work by bhagat, with his intension of reaching 'common men without much vocabulary exposure'(like me, perhaps), but it's a good one to me! Infact, a very profound one!

To u?

Twas all crap!!!

Huh! Twas all worse... It's been so long, dat I almost forgot the password to sign into BLOGGER.
But I am in, not wid the same old reason for the insanity, but wid a different one!

I, all of a sudden, was unable to access the internet for about a fortnight, due this, crap, kinda, computer!!! Mine is one of the world's slowest cheap and insipid systems! My system encountered a problem it seems, which, as usual, went beyond my comprehending ability, to resolve it out!

Still, the problem persists, unresolved. Twas only today, I was alive enough to realise that the problem was with WINDOWS XP (but still not, what the problem, actually is). Net is accesible wid WINDOWS 98, but still not possible wid XP. But it's dead slow, out here, in 98. But atleast some bloody crap, could be surfed of, instead of just murdering the time wid inactivity!!

Redefining..

Not distinct,
blurring out as I accelerate,
forcing me, the wrong way.

In retrospect,
LIFE in the past,
threw light to queries unanswered.

But, I am here now,
gently clearing off 'em,
through illusions and visualisations.

Polishing to the apex of its lusture,
Shaping it to near unity,
with best use of seconds,
though, not the very best.

As I progress,
I am aware,
Tint of maturity in immaturity,
transforming into,
Tint of immaturity in maturity.

Life redefined?
Redefined,
seemingly distinct,
but blurd,
and blurd,
and I resist.

Justify?

Neither my thoughts were blossoming,
Nor my dreams were freaky enough,
to expose, perhaps.
Feelings?
Been pretty verdant!
Is it?
Or BARREN?
Perturbed, with twists!

A wavery mind - muddled,
Really?
Or distinct?
Perturbed, with twists!

An indecisive soul,
Hot and dense,
Or is it cold-blooded?
Perturbed, with twists!

An arid barren - sprouting?
A verdant grassland - futile?
VERDANT BARRENS??
Perturbed, with twists!

Over - but ONE

Had it been the release 'HARRY POTTER and the GOBLET of FIRE', then none of the related big-shots, would have been alive!! So, restless and atrocious were my colleagues, when we recieved an official information inferring the postponement of our first and fore-most final examination of this semester, MATHS, in lieu of incessant and heavy rains in CHENNAI!!

Jus hand-washing, the first three months of dis semester, MATHS was the cynosure of all eyes on the dusk of 6th November (exams were scheduled to start on 7th), when the head-lines read about the closure of all schools and colleges on the following day. We became enthralled, on both quadrants. Like, some were very imprudent and carried on, though most of us were against the decision.

An other, worst thing is dat, within an hour's gap, after the announcement, there was'nt a speck of rain!! And the following day, was sunny! Huh!

All other exams went on as scheduled and somehow, perished to trouble on 18th. This maths exam has been postponed to 30th of NOVEMBER, which again, is a bad sign for us!!
Anywayzz!!

Hurdle ahead...

Yup!
My third semester exams r commencing from the 7th. It's gonna be very hectic, the next two weeks. Colleagues here r in 4th gear to hit the target asap, with accuracy!!
So I'll be off for the next two weeks!!

Dat's eet!!

Again a long gap!!!

Yup! I feel silly to give, the same old reason for this long gap!!(Busy). But yes, I was. All my assessments and practical exams are over now!!

Finally, I am in my native, after succeding lottsa hurdles! I was in a total imbroglio whether to go for diwali or stay back, the reason being, our semester exams had a rumour of coomencing on 3/11.

Then came the schedule for the exam, which noted the coomencement of the exams on 7/11, which gave a sigh of relief. So, I made my final decision to move out for DIWALI. Booked the tickets.

Jus a couple of days before my departure, we felt nasty rains accompanied wid storms in chennai. It was ultimately very cold, that we were unable to pose our heads out. This made my diwali trip a "??". The rains were devastating. Roads were filled with knee-deep water. An unprecedented incident, perhaps!

Fortunately, on the day of departure, Twas all ok, wid the sun poking its nose out! Water on roads started receding....Everything came back to normal.

A non-comprehendable "one"

There's one for sure,
who, carves out an isle
from Kolkata, perhaps,
with some useless reasoning.
Though not fully indulged,
in investigation, accidentally,
did I notice one, whom I've been
long waiting for, Who is metres
from me. Not very far from my fully
stretched hand's possible reach out,
is She! She?
He perhaps. He?
'HES', is considered, on an average,
though not authorised.

With sharp broken gobblets in 'hes' hand,
And with a grin outlook, is set for a cut,
which shows the absence of even the slightest
of 'hes' impeccable mannerism.
These, sharp gobblets, being invisible to
our eyes, 'hes' would give a fake smile,
when met. What does 'hes' cut?
'Kilns' of the cause, might be an anagram.
Huh! That's what 'hes' does.

Gone are all those days, when HES'd give
a benovolent smile, which none expected would
turn malevolent. 'Hes' might be one in number, perhaps
Doesn't seem to alter the 'childhood'ity perhaps,
which 'hes' has carried it with 'hes' breath for
all revolutions around the 'sun'.
A non-comprehendable "one",
Perhaps to you too.

Renovated...perhaps!

Twas very uninspiring and dull gazing at the same template for long. So i jus thought, I'd give a new avatar and refurbish this blog!

Now it seems pretty fresh and gale. It's been a year and a half since i typed in my first letters into dis one. But, I, internally feel, I do dis "posting" as a possessor of this blog and not as a relisher.

During the early days of its birth, my frequency of scribblings was pretty appreciable. But it has drooped. But i am happy and satisfied that I cud atleast sustain the blog. But onething is sure!
I've ceased to write something interesting these days! Lemme try out something soon!

Gr8 week..

Huh!!

I feel, 'the blog' stares at me, when I am trying to sign into it.. It gives a strange gaze..
Such a rare visitor, I've become, to my blog..Huh!

Anywayz..Twas a perfect entertainment,the previous week..
We had a demo on the "IC Engine Dismantling" by our dept. seniors...which was more like a theory class rather than a practical one.. coz.. the engine which was selected for our demo was the oldest ever in our college, I suppose...with none of its parts in good condition..
But still we got something into our head at the end of that demo session..

That was followed by "AGNI", our college culturals, which went on for two days and three nights...Gr8 entertainment..We were overpleased, coz, we enjoyed more than what we expected.
We had in our mind that, this AGNI, wud be more technical and less entertaining, the reason being, our VC had laid strict rules on CINE songs etc.. etc.. So, we expected some carnatic type of songs during AGNI.. But everything went on in the same manner as last year.. Twas a thorough entertainment last weekend..

Then the most expected TAMIL blockbuster "GAZINI", came out last thursday..I was fated to see it last week end... Twas a profound and a decent movie too.. Hero's heroism combined wid heroine's beauty mixed wid a professional background music bonded wid excellent songs in addition to the theatrical effects, made the film very entertaining...
Hm.. This week end we, hostellers, r fleeing off to our natives, in connection with POOJA holidays..
That's eeeet..!!

A stranger to the monitor...

My fingers funmble as i try to press in letters into the BLOGSPOT.. Huh! Its been a fortnight since I faced this 15' x 15' monitor.. Twas a really hectic fortnight with laotsa assessments and assignments..

I was completely restricted within a small area in my room, with books and pen infront and nothing exciting around...Alas I am out of an inferno...All my second assessment tests got completed the day before yestreday...Tests were'nt bad... Huh!
College culturals "AGNI" coming around...

That's more than enough scribblings...

Spams filling upto the brim...

Hm.. I was shocked to see about three comments in about 5 minutes of time wid my last post
"Huh! So many frequent visitors to my blog...", I was overthrilled..
When I clicked on to open it, I was able to see all anonymous unnamed comments only...which all read "Your blog is awesome, great etc. etc." and what not..
Realising them to be spam comments, I've switched ON the word verification option in the comments settings...Hoping that it wud prevent all spams..

Hey frendz!! Keep commenting!

Alas it came out!!

Hm..

ON that day, it was around 1515 hrs, when i was busy pressing the calculator buttons in a lab class, when an sms roared with a vibration, which read "The results are out", which became usual for me, coz, my friends r experts in creating rumours...Then all my friends' cellphones were flashed with that sms, which cr8ed a mild doubt in me.
Then one of my colleagues fled off to the department and came back running "All cleared!!!". He was so excited, that gave an assurance that results have come. So, we all ran to the department to check. YES, THEY WERE PUBLISHED at the notice board.
I, being at the peak of my excitement, scrolled down for my results, found my name, excitement geared up, scrolled horizontally and was satisfied to see no "U" grades [U grade in a particular subject means that, one has failed in that subject]. Then went on to see my score..... TWAS 8.79 GPA (Grade Point Average)...SATISFIED....

Went off with light heart....Huh!!

Hm.. Nothing exciting happened during the past few days..
Tomorrow, being Gokulashtami, some of my colleagues have left to visit their natives on a three day week-end...

Regarding the THIRD SEMESTER..... Subjects r pretty interesting... But most of the time flees off writing assignments and record work...

Huh! Then FRESHER's PARTY was held some few daysback... Twas a good one too..
Hm.. We had a royal feeling to see all the freshers, stammering and sweating infront of us..Huh!

She's 58 now...

~Hm.. Yup!
"Independent" India is 58 years old.

Every year there arises an imbroglio as to how many years have gone since independence, followed by an intensive arguement session among our neighbours, parents etc.. and then finally coming to a peaceful conclusion....

This is the 59th INDEPENDANCE DAY (if i am right) considering 15th AUG. 1947 as the first. Today is one of the three days on which we "remember" to remember our INDIA, INDIAN FREEDOM FIGHTERS, The TRICOLOUR FLAG etc etc... We'll be filled with patriotism jus for those 52 seconds, when "JANA GANA MANA" is sung...Huh!

Anywayz.. Wish u all a very patriotic and happy independance day!!!

Why Can't We See God - A scientific explanation

The explanation was given by FRANK LEE, a doctrate in Bio-physics
Here it goes....

Physicists have discovered the mechanism that prevents us from seeing the Kingdom of God by electromagnetic waves.

When I was a graduate student majoring in physics, I was an atheist. To me, God was a product of ignorance, due to lack of scientific knowledge. If people understood natural laws as well as physicists, they would not believe the existence of God. At that time, I did not know that most great physicists are God's believers, such as Newton, Kepler, Planck, Heisenberg and Einstein.

Ten years after I received my Ph.D. in physics, I became a Christian - not because I found any hard scientific evidence about God. Like most believers, I felt that there must be a God who had been guiding me, otherwise some events that had happened to me would not be so coincidental.

The existence of God was so real that I had been wondering: where could God be? why can't we see Him? how come modern technology cannot detect God? Since I was trained in physics, I believed that all natural phenomena should have a physical explanation. If God really existed, these questions could be answered in terms of physical law. However, I did not know where or how to find the scientific answer. It might be impossible to know the answer at all.

In 2000, almost ten years after I became a Christian, I happened to read an article about string theory. My specialty was in biophysics, not in theoretical physics, but I had great interest in our universe - especially new concepts. The string theory just offered a completely new concept about our universe. After I read that article, I was thrilled. This must be it! God must be there! He could be only a centimeter away from us without being detected. Physicists have discovered the mechanism that prevents us from seeing the Kingdom of God!

The string theory has been developed for several decades, with a goal to become "the theory of everything", that is, to unify all four fundamental forces - gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces. A revolutionary discovery of the theory is that the whole universe should have nine or ten dimensions of space, instead of three dimensions (length, width and height). Then, why do we see only three dimensions? In the earlier version of the string theory, it was assumed that those extra dimensions were too small to be observed. Thus, the whole universe is essentially the same as the 3D world. If this were true, there would be no place for God. Fortunately, a few years before 2000, researchers began to realize that those extra dimensions could be as large as the ordinary three dimensions. The reason why we cannot see extra dimensions is because all matter and electromagnetic waves (photons) are confined in a three dimensional sub-universe called "braneworld".

At present, the major messenger we use to see or detect things is the electromagnetic waves which include radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, and x-ray. Since the electromagnetic waves are confined in our braneworld, this immediately explains why we cannot detect God if He lives outside our braneworld. The relationship between our braneworld (three dimensional) and the whole universe (ten dimensional) is like a TV screen (two dimensional) in our house (three dimensional). Suppose there is a creature confined on the TV screen, he cannot see us even if we are only a centimeter away from him. Similarly, if God lives in the ten dimensional space but outside our braneworld, we cannot see Him even if He is only a centimeter away from us.

What is the mechanism that confines matter and photons in our braneworld?

We know that all matter in our world is composed of atoms. An atom consists of a nucleus surrounded by electrons. A nucleus contains protons and neutrons, which are made up of quarks. The electron and quarks are elementary particles which cannot be divided further. In addition to the elementary particles that constitute matter, there is another type of elementary particles that mediate the fundamental force between matter particles. For example, the electromagnetic force is mediated by photon, the gravity is mediated by graviton. You may have learned that the magnetic force is mediated by the magnetic field. Similarly, you can say that the electromagnetic force is mediated by the electromagnetic field. In quantum physics, a "field" can also be viewed ("quantized") as a particle. The photon is the particle name of the electromagnetic field. The graviton is the particle name of the gravitational field. A field may also be static (like a magnetic field) or dynamic (such as the electromagnetic waves).

According to the string theory, an elementary particle can be considered as a "string" with extremely short length. All properties (mass, energy, etc.) of an elementary particle are inherent in the string's vibrational patterns. The particle string is analogous to a violin string whose vibrations produce various music notes. Similarly, different vibrational patterns of a particle string give rise to different properties. The vibrational patterns depend on the endpoints of the string. The particle string can be either "open" (with two endpoints, like a violin string) or "closed" (no endpoints, like a ring). In contrast to a violin string whose endpoints are fixed on a wooden board, the endpoints of a particle string are fixed in a "brane" (as in membrane), which is a space with two, three, or more dimensions. Since its endpoints are fixed, the open-string particle cannot escape from the brane. However, the closed-string particle can go anywhere because it has no endpoints to be fixed. Mathematically, different endpoints have different boundary conditions that are used in solving the equations for the vibrational patterns.

The properties of elementary particles in our world are known from experiments. The vibrational patterns of a particle string can be obtained by solving the fundamental equation in the string theory with appropriate boundary conditions (corresponding to endpoints). It has been found that, in order to match particle properties with vibrational patterns, the graviton must be a closed string, while all other particles must be an open string with endpoints fixed in a three-dimensional brane. This predicts that all matter and photons must be trapped in a three-dimensional braneworld. The only thing that can escape from the braneworld is the graviton.

What about the Kingdom of God in the higher dimensional space (the "bulk universe")? Their matter is likely to be made of the elementary particles with closed string, thereby free to go anywhere. Their particles must not have any charge that interacts with photons, because the photon is an open-string particle which is unique to our braneworld. The electromagnetic waves (photons) will pass through their matter without being reflected at all. Therefore, even if their matter (including life) enters into our braneworld, it still cannot be detected by electromagnetic waves.

All our matter particles can interact with the graviton, which is a closed string. It is very likely that the matter in the Kingdom of God can also interact with the graviton. Hence, in principle, God could be detected by gravitational waves (gravitons). However, the gravitational waves are extremely weak. Physicists have not been able to generate detectable gravitational waves yet. In the future, when we have better scientific knowledge and technology, we may be able to prove the existence of God by using gravitational waves to detect Him directly...

Out of the wrecked ship now!

Kewl!
Finally all my first assessments got over yesterday, in no time...Had a very tough time last week with assignment stress, assessment stress, record note stress and lots more. Neither too gud! nor too bad, a performance in the assessments..
And..All the departments of CEG have got the results of the second sem. exams...except
The MECH's and the COMP. SCI'S.. Awaiting my second sem results..
Hm.. I'll be off to my native for the next four days in connection wid the INDEPENDENCE DAY.

Today all the first years got admitted...And now we r proud to be called "SENIORS"!! Ha ha!

Anything more...? Life is just KEWL and COMFORTABLE..

Tuesday, July 26, 2005

Busy life ahead..

Can't just explain that. Anyway, I'll be out of blogging for the next fifteen days or so. A busy schedule is ahead.

Expecting second sem results... Got to prepare for a seminar which I am gonna handle soon. Got to prepare for my assessments. Lots of assignments to be completed..
Huh! Hectic.

Nothing more of importance..
That's it.

Thursday, July 14, 2005

Just settled..

Hm.. Yes just settled into the hostels of CEG..Hostel life is not that enjoyable as it was in the first year till now..a boring life with an FM by my side and just sitting and scrolling the same pages of THE HINDU in a 10 m x 10 m room with a half-lit light and a 10 rpm fan.
Regarding college life, that's as usual. Its pretty orthodox.
Awaiting the second sem results.
We have a "TECHNICAL SEMINAR" course, this semester. Every week 5 students will have to present a paper on some useful topics, according to the alphabtical order. Today was the first day.
One of my colleagues/class mates, RAJKUMAR, by name gave a lecture on "MAGNETIC LEVITATION". His seminar was admirable. Great job man ! U screwed all ur mates onto their seats. He was filled with confidence as he stepped onto the podium for a paper presentation. This was his first paper presentation ever. But his presentation was exceedingly superb.

Regarding su|do|ku, I could find some toughness in it now - a - days. It's standard has risen.
Nothing more to scribble.
That's it.

An year of blogging..

Its been an year since this blog was started with lots of crossings through the mind.

Twas on 4th july 2004, I posted my first post in this blog
This blog has sustained for a long era.. Hoping for a long life.. All my previous blogs were short lived..

Blogging is pretty interesting, though now - a - days the frequency of postings has reduced drastically...I'd love to continue it till.............................................,

Great Mess...

Twas a pretty tough job for the second years in getting a room in the hostels of CEGas our strength was in great number..
I did'nt expect that kinda disorder in CEG. We were called on 29th for HOSTEL ALLOCATION but I was surprised to see no proper planning and organisation. No seriousness and sincerity among the faculy incharge. We were sent back and were asked to come, the following day..Again we were sent back and were asked to appear the third day.. We got frustrated.

I had a mild plan in my mind of becoming a day's scholar. At last on 2nd July I was able to get a room for stay.
Now i am in block 3 room no. 21

Hm.. Settled a bit..

su|do|ku...

This su|do|ku seems to be as easy as picking up a candy from a child. So easy is this new puzzle which is a new arrival on the last pages of THE HINDU.

Sudoku..? Dunno why it was baptized so. But one thing is certain. There is no need for any comparison with the next day's solution. coz..There's gonna be only one obvious solution for this puzzle. This puzzle, hardly leaves off 23 hours 55 minutes free, a day.

But, yes.. It needs a bit of logical thinking and reasoning. And the crosswords, which takes out another hour. But the crosswords' range of toughness is still maintained. This surely needs next days' solution, if all squares arent filled up.

But there's one more thing. THE HINDU is a newspaper, which we all know. But, attention is not towards the news. People, I presume, don't go much deep into the core. Just graze the headlines and start puzzling their heads over this Su|do|ku and crossowrds..I do this exactly...

Inventing ways...

It's almost a month, since I came to my native.. It's getting a bit bored...with nothing exciting around. Just doing with my lonely but all-time friend, 'the computer'. Inventing ways to spend days. Just hanging on to the crosswords for time-pass. And what else to do..?
Yes. "THE AGE OF EMPIRES - I", would take some time out. A pretty interesting strategy game.

I was out for KODAIKKANAL last week. Superb climate. What else to say..About 10 degree centrgrade, perhaps..Who knows? It was very cool out there. Sweaters became a sure necessity. All sites were fantastic. A pleasent breeze blowing on to us as we walk through. Nights were damn cold. A totally different climatic situation from CHENNAI.

Hm...
Nohting more...Just killing time.. that's it.

A settled life...

Hmm!! Reached my native on 22nd. Slowly getting settled over here. Started giving work to my legs and hands after a long era of inactivity. Outdoor gaming is on...
Eyes are back on to the crossword section of THE HINDU, which had been temporarily ceased. Chatting with friends, playing computer games, eating heavily, sleeping longer etc..
Just a settled and cool life..That's it..
Will continue for a month or so..

Finally reahced the pinnacle....

After a long tiring climb, apex was touched today...All my second semester exams were over today...
Hmm.. Can't say..very good.But ok.Papers were tough this time..
Somehow completed an year of engineering without proper involvement..
Leaving Chennai tomorrow.

A month's relief from books...

So far... not bad...

Hm..
Sometime days are so fast to realise...
Sometime they tend to be slow..
Even I could not believe that second semester is going to end..It's been pretty fast these 4 months..
Very fast...
Anywayz.. 4 of my 7 theory papers are over.. Still three more left.
So far not bad...Not so good too..

The time has come...

All assessments and end semester practicals are over with a cramped mind..Exams are nearing... Books have started coming out of bags.. Vigil has started..

A very busy time ahead..

Tuesday, April 26, 2005

A tight going...

It's been pretty tight right from last week, with all assessments and end semester practicals..
Still tight...
and would be tight till MAY 20,
when our second semester ends.

Our second sememster exams commences on May 6.
But there are no signs of completing the portions yet.

A busy schedule ahead.. Got to overcome it successfully..

Ravi signing off..

Tranquility....and excitement..

* And.. the Indians were massacared by AFRIDI on the fifth ODI at Kanpur. One of the worst bowling attacks, I've ever seen. I think the Indians lost their mental strength, though not the physical one, in the absence of Ganguly. When the first two matches were won ingeniously, somthing like 6-0 ran through my mind. But now, my heart is anxious for a 'level series 3-3'

* A peaceful hostel.About 70% evacuated for their natives in connection with Tamil New Year.
I decided not to go, because, not a fortnight has passed from the day,
I came back from my native. I thought spending a useful week-end here at CEG. But so far, I've not. And tomorrow, this goal is surely unattainable. Because, there is a big hurdle in the form of the 6th ODI.

An IV to NCTPS

None of us could understand anything when one of the factory officials of the NORTH CHENNAI THERMAL POWER STATION (NCTPS), tried to impart something in us with his full throat.

Ye.. We'd availed an industrial visit to NCTPS, somewhere near ennore on this 7th. The trip was less technical, but more enjoyable. Our electrical engineering professor was kind enough to arrange for this IV even when he knew that we are all rookies. We, were preparing on how well to enjoy the trip rather than how technically could we utilise it, the previous night. The classes were suspended for the day.

We started from the university at 9:45 AM in our college bus. Reached there at around 11:45 AM. Then we were checked and sent in...
We waited for about half an hour.. Then came a smart looking factory official..
He first gave us a gist on this power plant and its production. Then we were taken for rounds around NCTPS. We were in a real factory atmosphere there. The machines and their working, were pretty interesting to see. We had an oppurtunity to see the 275 metre long chimney, tallest in Asia.
There in NCTPS they produce electricity and supply them to the grid. The raw material used there, is coal. This is something I listened to.
After covering the whole factory. We were taken to Asia's worst canteen perhaps at around 2 PM when we were all dyingly hungry. Even water packets were sold out. Nothing was left. Then we started back with empty stomach. My head ache also started along with that. Because the heat was at its peak. Not a water drop to drink. Then there was a hault in the middle, where we had some juice, which further aggrandised my head ache.
Then we reached university at around 5 PM.
Return journey was very tiresome. The trip was pretty enjoyable on the whole.
We gained some idea on how industries work, how weary the workers are.. etc..

Tuesday, April 05, 2005

Rainy..

We had 2 days of nasty rain. Commuters sufferred a lot here, from College to hostel and back to college..and to mess in between. The case of Day scholars was even worse.
None of us expected such a heavy rain during the period of a hot summer. Anywayz..

Chennai is pretty cool now.
This rain brought up a sigh of fresheness in us, for sure. Still it's drizzling.
My hands are wet, as I am imprinting thse words into the blog, because of cool weather and AC room, from where I use to surf, is adding fuel to fire..

Another easy win for Indian cricketers today. Well Done M S DHONI! This thirsty man was waiting for his turn to come and he proved it here. I feel a bit proud to say that we are two games ahead of 'em. Inzy would try to pull back..in the next match.
Let's hope for the best.

1-0 up...India up up..

On the whole, yesterday was pretty enjoyable..
It started off with a flambouyant victory of the indian cricketers...Thanks to Virender Sehwag for his blastings. We are a step higher than the Pakistanis now..It was followed by our HOSTEL DAY. We had snacks which was followed by some entertainments which were the least entertaining..
The most awaited part of the agenda - the dinner, was nicely planned and it tasted well too.

No special incdents at the college now-a-dayz..
Rest all ok...

Hotter Chennai..

Hmm..
Day by day Chennai is getting sultrier and sultrier. The summer here is at its peak. The most expected water problem troubled us for the past 2 days.We all sufferred of dying thirst neither did we have enough water to have a nice cool bath to get relieved, a bit, from this inferno. Now it's been curtailed to some extent.

Days are pretty comfortable now.
mm..
Life just goes..

Diversions - Killer of TIME...

I am in my native on a 3 day long week end in connection with Good Friday. Still my second assessments are on. They have not attained completion.

So the day I started from CEG, Chennai, I, very ingeniously, took many books with me, to read. Everytime I do the same thing. I would be stubborn and robust in my attitude of studying in my home..

But it's hightime, I abided by my attitude. Right from the moment I step into the cool water from that inferno(comparing my home with my hostel), forget what is what and my whole attitude would change.

My heart, my soul, my everything would force me to enjoy, would discourage me in an encouraning manner. I detest my soul at times. Many reaction forces would act from my 'inner' when I come home. I've heard many times, my 'inner', saying "Studies are secondary." So all the books I bring would never pose their heads out at home. They'd be safely packed in my suitcase.

LAME EXCUSE :
Lots and lots of distractions and diversions.
Calls from my friends, old memories, TV, Computer, a good breakfast, a delicious dinner, a luscious lunch etc. help me much in deviating from books.

At night, I go to sleep with a heavy dissatisfying heart, with a reminiscent mind on how well I wasted the day. Days would pass the same way.

On the day I leave home for the following day's class, I'd feel the heaviest of my hearts and would a pose a desperate and virtual smile at my parents as though I am blissful. The heaviest moment comes when the train destined to Chennai, roars out of the station. I'd drop all my pleasant memories and would carry all remorseful feelings with me.

But when I reach my hostel, the heavy hearts of other colleagues (whose itinerary matched mine), would make me feel relaxed a bit.
This "reminiscence" will orthdoxly, be the same whenever I come home.

One of the shining stars, infact the brightest..

I was not so impressed with Yuvan Shankar Raja's RAAM, when it flowed into my ears for the first time. Nor was I too attentive to those musical waves, as I always hear music as my second work.

But then after RAAM's release of visual, my colleagues' hype about the excellency of the film made me tune my ears towards the great composer's composition.

I admired it, lost my bad thoughts that ambushed me, went deep down to the underworld, cruised all way on the sea of Bliss. I felt lush and opulent.

Yuvan's touch in music has touched our inner heart. I am sure, he would also have felt it while composing them. This is one of the few shining stars of Yuvan's forged music heaven.

Hey frendz,, try it out and u'll get drowned into Yuvan's innovation. I really mean, saying this.

PINNACLE - 05

Ye! Pinnacle, a national level technical symposium for mechanical engineers hosted by CEG, was so technical that it went beyond the comprehending ability of the freshers, to some extent.

But I assure you, it was overwhelmingly good(upto the level I could understand the technicality). Pinnacle was held on 17th and 18th of March. Classes were suspended for all mechanical engineers of CEG, on account of this.

Prodigies from various colleges all over India participated and performed exceedingly well. There were quizzes, paper presentations, project presentations and what not?
It was a well planned and ingeniously executed symposium by CEG.

Coming to the most vital part. The quality of lunch provided on those two days, went beyond our expectations. It was informed that the lunch was unlimited. So, we were all mentally prepared for a "little less quality" lunch. But it so luscious that it took us to heaven. Every item was delicious.

We, first years, were denied of paper presentations. So some of my colleagues who had interest and zeal in it, were a bit upset. Every agenda was excellently planned and optimistically executed, though there were some freaky obstacles.

And coming to the paper presentation session. I dunno about other colleges. But if u r a student of CEG, u would have an oppurtunity to listen to paper presentaions quiet frequently. Not only paper presentations but also to other technical discussions. We CEGians will never be deprived of these things.

And during pinnacle, I was fortunate enough to listen to some 10 to 15 papers presented by other college representatives.[It was a paper presentation competition.].

All the colleges were profusely talented in paper presentations, but when it comes to QUERIES session, the other side of the coin commences to show up.

What, I noticed of all of them, was that they are a bit amateur in answering to the queries. Especially, here in CEG, our professors(who were the judges for the competitions) cross-questioned the participants with some freaky queries which made them sweat in the middle of the dais. They stood, unanswering them, in imbroglio whether to attempt on it or give a bashful "don't know" to the judges.

So, i think for paper presentations, an indepth understanding of the concept, on the subject of presentation, is a necessity.

Pinnacle aimed at bringing out prodigies, erupt out their skills and hidden capabilities. I came to know that this year's pinnacle was an unprecedented success.

T..E..C..H..O..F..E..S - 2005

As KALAKRITHI was to AC College of Technology (ACT), Anna University, so is TECHOFES to CEG(College Of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University). Last month's Kalakrithi was a bit dissatisfying... Now it's time for CEG to bring their young prodigies out...to entertain for about half a week.. Techofes (College culturals of CEG)is scheduled from 12th - 15th. of Febrauary.

I saw the itinerary of Techofes. Twas simillar to Kalakrithi's..So, I thought of paying a visit to my home. But I was in total imbroglio all night..to take decision whether to enjoy Tehcofes or go back home. But then I took an ingenious decision to go back home and relax. Coz.. assessments are still on, not yet over. Got to prepare 4 them too. coz, sometimes we get very freaky question papers which none of us would have expected. Yup~~~~..
Dunno, how'z tehcofes going on there....

Leving for Chennai on the 15th... that is all,..

Something to share......

The Airbus A380..

Simply put it's the world's largest passenger plane. It is also the heaviest and the costliest commercial passenger aircraft ever built. The super jumbo is gigantic, like a Titanic in the sky. It's tail stands seven stories high; and the plane is as wide as a soccer field, stretching 260 feet from wingtip to wingtip. It is also as long as two blue whales.

The A380 was unveiled with grand fanfare at the Jean-Luc Lagardere Final Assembly Line Hall in Toulouse, France, on Tuesday.

It can seat 555 passengers, about 30 per cent more than a Boeing 747; but it can actually hold 800 people.

When fully loaded it will weigh up to 560 tonnes. It has an 118-tonne fuel supply, which is more than two fully loaded Boeing 717s in weight.

Yet, it will be one of the fastest aircraft, capable of speeds of about 650 mph (0.85 Mach) and can fly up to 15,000 miles.

Something amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Inkling - Blaming fate doesn't help you...

"Hm.. What to do? Fate wills the other way." "Have no ways, but to got by fate."

Yes. These words pull down your good attitude, your fine brain, your brave mind and your courageous heart. Huh!

'Fate' is something that doesnt exist (It's my opinion). It has been forged by us. It's fictuous after all. Every walk of Life depends on you and your mind and not on your fate. Every action you do, every step u keep, is the decision of your mind.

Ya. We've seen people blaming FATE as the first two lines suggest you. I, too confess, I do that. But I feel, it's not right.

Try to be antagonistic to fate..
coz.. It would depress your will. Would degrade your performence.
Try achieving, what you think. Forget about fate. Don't let fate govern you.
Believing that fictuous fate, will levigate your ambitions, your goals etc. Try overcoming fate.
You have the power within you to change according to the world, to adjust according to the circumstances. Bring that out...
Have positive attitude. Focus on your goal. DENY following fate.
Go on... Attain what your inner soul wishes and your dreams can come true... You'll attain fruition...
